Welcome to Frank Water's interactive quiz on Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH). This quiz aims to test your knowledge of worldwide water issues and to highlight the way in which Frank Water works to improve water security for some of the poorest people in the world. These questions have been designed to align with GCSE Geography syllabuses on water resource management.

The global water crisis affects millions of people across the world, leaving them without access to a safe, sustainable water supply; decent toilets and good hygiene.

Frank Water is a charity that works towards a water-secure world in which everyone has equal access to a safe, secure water supply.

Frank Water works with communities to:

• Help improve the capture, storage and use of water available; and
• Ensure that the volume of water extracted is equal to or less than the amount in the immediate environment or watershed.

This quiz gives examples of how this works in practice. With every correct answer the water level will rise, reflecting improvements to the groundwater supply. Get a question wrong and you risk the water supply running dry.
